Strike Out Homelessness Event - Pre-game Party and Minnesota Twins Baseball Game
Enjoy a barbeque, meet Twins players and help raise money for homeless children and families. Be a part of the 5th annual Strike Out Homelessness benefit on Friday, July 18th. The event includes a pre-game party at 4 PM and baseball game at 7:10 PM.
This year, fans will cheer on the Minnesota Twins as they take on the Texas Rangers. Strike Out Homelessness is a benefit for homeless children and families sheltered at People Serving People (PSP) in collaboration with Minnesota Twins, the Star Tribune, Startribune.com, and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
The event is a fun, family focused opportunity for the community to join together and demonstrate their commitment to ending homelessness.
Drawing nearly 600 people each year, the event includes live music by Burning City Skyline, Mayda, and Tim Mahoney, Twins’ player appearances, a barbeque and a baseball game.
The first 100 guests will receive a free Tim Mahoney Stay/Leave CD!
PSP would like to thank all of volunteers and sponsors for giving their time and financial support to make Strike Out Homelessness a continued success!
